My style tip today has to do with what you are wearing on your face. I am not a makeup artist and I don’t have the mega-skills of other girls, but I need to share some real talk with you: everybody should be wearing bronzer!
As a lifelong pale girl, I never thought I could wear bronzer because I thought it would look awful on my skin. I WAS WRONG. It gives such a nice, natural glow to your face! I got on the bronzer bandwagon via Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer. This is a tried and true product that many professionals use to contour and sculpt. It can also be used very subtly to create a healthy glow. The trick is to tap off excess powder to avoid over-application, so you can build it up a little at a time.
I’ve asked our resident MUA, Jessica, to give a quick tip on bronzer placement, since she actually knows what she’s talking about and I’m just fan-girling over a cosmetic…
Pro Tip: For a natural look, apply bronzer to the face in a “3” on the right side and an “E” on the left side. Don’t forget to blend up from the cheeks to lift the cheek bone. – Jessica
