Since I have started learning more and more about nutrition, I have been playing with food ideas. I am not one for over the top spices or flavoring, but I do want some options. Breakfast has by become my new favorite meal by far.
A nice light, refreshing breakfast is the best way to get the day started. My new obsession is vanilla bean yogurt by Trader Joe’s! Anyone else like that one? Its so fresh tasting and not over powering with vanilla flavor. Just yummy!!
Here are two light and quick creations I have come up with for breakfast and I wanted to share them with you.
1 cup of vanilla bean yogurt, 1/2 cup of blueberries, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a tablespoon of shaved almonds.
1 cup of vanilla bean yogurt, 1/2 green apple, peeled and sliced (I love Granny Smith apples), a dash of nutmeg and handful of pecan granola.
